Junior DevOps Consultant – IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)
Venn Cubed is seeking a Junior DevOps Consultant – IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) to join our DevOps team. The role focuses on supporting and maintaining existing Planning Analytics applications while contributing to enhancements and project implementations.
Job Title: Junior DevOps Consultant – IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)
Location: Cape Town (Hybrid 2 -3 days in the office)
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 1–2 years in a similar support, DevOps, or EPM-related role
Working closely with the DevOps Team Lead and senior consultants, you will support client environments, resolve issues, assist with system improvements, and contribute to deployments and development tasks. This role offers exposure to multiple industries and an opportunity to build expertise in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and planning technology.
Key Responsibilities
• Support and maintain IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) solutions for Venn Cubed clients.
• Troubleshoot application issues and assist with analysis and resolution.
• Assist with system enhancements, optimisations, and automation initiatives.
• Support deployments, upgrades, monitoring, and DevOps processes.
• Contribute to development, testing, and implementation on new projects.

• Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting, Financial & Operational Reporting, Costing & Profitability Models, Sales & Operational Planning, Scenario Modelling & Analytics
Skills & Attributes
• Interest in enterprise planning technology.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Understanding of data, databases, and integrations.
• Exposure to IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 or other EPM tools is advantageous.
• SQL, Power BI, or Python knowledge beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualifications:
• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Economics
