A fast-tracked, connected planning journey

Venn Cubed delivered the implementation for Superbalist in partnership with Anaplan PS, taking their Anaplan Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP) application live in just 12 weeks. Running in parallel, the team also rolled out their Integrated Financial Planning (IFP) app, giving Superbalist a fully connected planning environment across both merchandise and finance functions from day one.

Notably, this was the first MFP app rolled out in EMEA, a significant milestone not just for Superbalist, but for the wider Anaplan community across the region.

Moving from manual processes to a connected planning environment

Before the implementation, Superbalist relied on legacy, manual processes to manage merchandise and financial planning. Through this project, that was replaced with a connected planning environment built on a single source of truth, where Finance and Planning teams could finally work in harmony rather than in silos.

An app built to fit, from the start

One of the standout outcomes of the project was how closely the out-of-the-box Anaplan MFP application matched what Superbalist actually needed. The app contained most of the functionality required from the outset, meaning very little had to be custom built on top, allowing the team to move quickly without compromising on fit.

Superbalist have expressed how extremely happy they are with the outcome, both in terms of the speed of delivery and the quality of the solution now supporting their planning processes.

This recognition as Anaplan Customer of the Year is a reflection of the hard work, collaboration and commitment shown by everyone involved: Superbalist, Anaplan, and the Venn Cubed team who supported the implementation from start to finish.
